Abstract Submission Instructions
The deadline to SUBMIT ABSTRACTS for oral and poster presentations is no later than Friday, July 19th, 2024. Once you register as a presenter you will receive instructions on how to submit your Abstract.
Criteria for Abstract
Each abstract body should be no more than 250 words long. Please use the formatting indicated below. Please note that all items should be left-justified with no skipped lines in between. The entire abstract should fit onto one page with 1” margins and should be in size 12pt Times New Roman font.

- Abstract Body which should include a hypothesis or statement about the problem, why the research is important, research methods, results, conclusions, and future directions (250 words max)
Oral Presentation Information:
Oral presentations will be organized into 1-hour long panels with three presenters in each panel. Presentations will be 15 minutes each followed by a 5-minute Q&A from the audience. There will be a moderator for each panel who will introduce presenters, assist with technical issues, and monitor the time. Please arrive at your presentation room early. Presenters will receive a 5-minute and 1-minute warning to wrap up the presentation. Presentations should be accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation.
Following your registration, you will receive an email with a link to submit your Abstract and PowerPoint. PowerPoint presentations should be submitted to the conference ahead of time. Please use your full name for the file name when submitting your presentation. We strongly recommend that you bring a copy of your presentation on a USB drive as a back-up. Technology for oral presentations will be provided.
NOTE: Only Microsoft PowerPoint formatted presentations will be accepted.
Poster Presentation Information:
Poster presentations will take place on Friday, August 2nd from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The poster presentations will be divided into two sessions (A & B) from 2:00 to 3:00 pm and 3:30 to 4:30 pm.

The maximum size for posters is 36" by 48". Please be sure to bring your poster with you to the registration desk on Day 2, on the morning of Friday, August 2nd, so we can check in your poster.
