We will break down the journey into manageable steps, focusing on how to evaluate program fit, navigate funding options, organize application materials, etc. Attendees will also gain practical strategies for managing letters of recommendation and tackling interviews with confidence.

Håfa Adai! Peter is originally from a small island in the Pacific Ocean called Guam.

After receiving his Bachelors in Psychology (2017) and his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2020) from the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) where he was a McNair Scholar, he worked at a couple of different universities including UNC and Metropolitan State University of Denver before joining the Colorado School of Mines.

As the first one to complete graduate school in his family he understands how confusing and intimidating both Graduate School and the Graduate Application Process can be. His compassion and knowledge of the process allows him to assist students while helping them to understand it all, too!
