Deborah Focarile

Dr. Deborah Focarile, a three time graduate of Baylor University, has taught and mentored learners for more than three decades including students in Waco ISD to first‑generation college students at McLennan Community College to doctoral candidates, including over thirty‑five dissertation scholars at Walden University.
Her career has centered on expanding access, fostering resilience, and creating learning environments where every student feels seen and supported. Deborah is coming over from the Baylor Moody School of Education where she has been a lecturer for the past three years. She has three daughters who are all Baylor Bears (2 grads and a freshman).
