Ricardo Garza

Ricardo Garza is a San Antonio, Texas native and currently serves as the Assistant Director for the McNair Scholars Program and Co-Director of the Baylor Avanzando program, in partner with UnidosUS. Prior to this role, he worked on campus as a Baylor Residence Hall Director for Martin Hall. 

Prior to coming to Baylor in 2020, Ricardo attended the University of Northern Iowa, where he received his Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Movement Exercise Science. He also graduated from Iowa State University, receiving his M.Ed. in Higher Education. Being a McNair Scholar himself, he is happy to be back in Texas and serving students who participate in the same program that brought him success during his undergraduate career.
